Damien Infertility Partners offers individualized treatment options for same sex couples.
For same sex couples (women)
For lesbian patients we offer donor sperm treatments using either insemination or in-vitro fertilization (IVF).
In standard IVF the patient carries her own egg to term using a donor sperm.
Those patients undergoing IVF, have the option to proceed with “standard” IVF or reciprocal “IVF”. In reciprocal IVF one partner provides the egg while the other partner carries the pregnancy.
For same sex couples (men)
For gay male couples fertility treatment involves egg donation followed by in-vitro fertilization using one or both partners sperm. Then the embryo is transferred to a gestational carrier.
Egg donation can be from a fresh donor or a frozen donor. The gestational carrier may be a willing friend or family member or someone contracted from an outside agency.
